What engines can I get for the 2022 Gladiator?

There are two impressive engine options available for the 2022 Gladiator, and both of them will provide you with the type of power you can only get from Jeep. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out an outstanding 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which pairs with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. They offer you a smooth ride both on and off the trails. The diesel engine returns for the second straight year as an option, and it's a turbocharged turbo-diesel 3.0-liter V6 with an outstanding 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs exclusively with the eight-speed automatic transmission. All versions of the Gladiator come with a 5-foot bed and four-wheel-drive, and those who are looking to haul around a ton of material will love the Gladiator as it has a towing capacity of 7,650 pounds and a payload of 1,700 pounds!

What are some of the Gladiators features?

There are five trims available for the Gladiator, and there are plenty of unique features available on every trim. We start with the base Sport trim, which comes with cruise control, a manually adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an eight-speaker audio system, and a 5-inch central display with voice control capability. The Sport also has a soft folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield. We recommend checking out the Sport S or Willy's trims if you want some design features. The Overland offers you the most bang for your buck. It comes with automatic headlights, power windows, heated power mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch central display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you plan on taking your Gladiator off-road, there are two trims available, the Rubicon and the Mojave. The Rubicon is built for rocky terrain. It has a 4.10 rear axle ratio, 33-inch all-terrain tires, fenders with increased clearance, FOX shock absorbers, locking front and rear differentials, body-protecting rock rails, and skid plates. Those who want to head out into the desert will love the Mojave as it has a reinforced frame, FOX internal bypass shock absorbers, and a Desert Rated badge.

How safe is the Gladiator?

Not only is the Gladiator one of the most powerful and capable trucks on the market, but it's also one of the safest, thanks to its numerous safety items! There is an available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Path Detection, which will check the areas around and behind your Gladiator and allow you to make safer lane changes and see all the vehicles coming up behind you. There is also an Adaptive Cruise Control system which will enable you to maintain a pre-set distance between the Gladiator and the traffic in front of it and finally there is the Rear Park Assist system which comes with sensors in the rear bumpers which will detect objects so you can park a little easier.
